ZHANG Yushi is a Partner, resident in the Beijing office. Her practice focuses on dispute resolution and general corporate. She represented clients in disputes before the Supreme People's Court and other People's Courts, and also before arbitration commissions such as CIETAC and BAC, assisting clients in resolving difficult and complex disputes. She also provided legal services on general corporate work for a number of companies.

Provided legal services to the Ministry of Finance and assisted it in handling numerous administrative reconsideration cases and administrative litigation disputes;

Applied for enforcement of court judgments, mediation decisions, arbitration awards and notarized enforcement certificates on behalf of several clients in several courts across the PRC in several cases mentioned above;
Represented the receiver of an insolvent company in several construction projects disputes with its subcontractors before courts in Beijing and other province, Nanjing Arbitration Commission and Urumqi Arbitration Commission;
Represented the receiver of an enterprise invested by the local government of Beijing in its dispute over invalidity of the settlement agreement with its creditor before one Intermediate People's Court in Beijing;
Represented several domestic and overseas clients respectively as creditors in several bankruptcy proceedings to declare credits and exercise the rights of creditors;

Assisted an offshore bank in dealing with debt restructuring with several onshore debtors, including assisting in designing the transaction structure, participating in negotiations and drafting transaction documents;
Assisted a local commercial bank in dealing with debt restructuring with its debtors, including assisting in doing due diligence, designing the transaction structure and drafting transaction documents;
Represented a private enterprise in its dispute over transfer of shares of partnership with another private enterprise before one Intermediate People's Court in Beijing and assisted this client in dealing with the subsequent debt restructuring, including assisting in designing the transaction structure and drafting transaction documents;

Provided legal services to multiple clients, including analyzing litigation/arbitration risk and providing strategic advice on potential disputes, drafting and reviewing agreements, providing legal opinions, doing investigations, and providing legal trainings to clients;

ZHANG Yushi received her LL.B. and B.A. in Economics from Peking University in 2011, and received her Master of Laws (in civil and commercial law) from Peking University in 2013.
